About Philip A. Charamella

I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where I attended Temple University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice in 1981. I attended Nova University School of Law where I was a member of the Dean’s List throughout my studies. Because of my distinguished academic success, I became a member of the Schools’ Prestigious Law Review. I received my Juris Doctor degree and graduated Cum Laude in 1984.

I was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and the United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 1984 and the New Jersey Bar and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1985. I practice law in the courts of both Pennsylvania and New Jersey and maintain offices in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In Pennsylvania I practice in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Montgomery and Delaware counties. In New Jersey I practice in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties. My practice areas include Family Law, Criminal Law, Driving Under the Influence, Real Estate Law and Wills and Estates.

I was a Professor of Family Law and Civil Litigation at the Main Line Paralegal Institute at the Wayne, Malvern and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania campuses for over 15 years.

I am listed in Martindale-Hubbell’s bar registry of preeminent lawyers: The Martindale-Hubbell bar register is limited to only the most distinguished law practices, those that have achieved the AV rating in the Martindale-Hubbell directory. The “A” signifies the highest level of legal ability, while the “V” denotes “Very High” adherence to professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability and diligence.

Even after these many years I continue to enjoy the challenge of practicing law and providing assistance to individuals whose lives have become complicated by both personal and legal issues. It is only after the resolution of these issues with the assistance of competent legal counsel that clients are able to move forward with their lives.
